Associate Environmental Consultant / Manager – Contaminated Land

Lead seven-figure CLM projects with the workload already there

Client & operational leadership without owning a regional P&L;

As anAssociate / Manager in Contaminated Land, this is a rare step up for someone who wants more influence over how a CLM business operates, without necessarily becoming a Regional Manager responsible for a P&L; and chasing current work.
n
The projects are already there. Plenty of them.
n
Your job is making sure the people, resources and delivery are structured properly around major contaminated land projects, while nurturing the good clients already working with the business.

The Role
n
You'll sit between the Team Leaders and broader State leadership, taking an operational view across Greater Sydney.
n
Lead and coordinate major CLM projects, including seven-figure programs
n
Resource projects across field staff, consultants and multiple teams where required
n
Maintain relationships with Tier 1 & 2 contractors, councils and existing clients
n




Review and authorise reports while remaining technically credible
n
Support Team Leaders and keep projects commercially and operationally on track
n
Focus on existing clients rather than external BD, which is handled by State and Executive leadership
n
The Team
n
There's a clear structure around you: field staff and fee earners, Team Leaders, then Regional, State and Executive leadership.

This role fits someone who still enjoys the technical side of contaminated land but increasingly gets satisfaction from making the broader operation work: good people on the right projects, clients looked after and big jobs delivered properly.

Experience
n
10+ years in contaminated land consulting, ideally 12+
n
Associate-level capability or equivalent
n
Experience managing large, ideally seven-figure CLM projects
n
Strong client relationship and project resourcing skills
n
Confident reviewing and authorising technical reports
