Our client is seeking experienced and dealer-trainedDiesel Mechanics, Motor Mechanics and Auto Electricians for full-time positions based in Wollongong, NSW. We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience working across a range of vehicles and machinery, including European and Japanese light vehicles, Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso trucks, as well as 4WDs.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Service and maintain vehicles to manufacturer specifications
n
Diagnose, overhaul, repair, and test diesel, petrol and gas-powered vehicles
n
Repair and replace engine management and fuel injection components
n
Trace and resolve diagnostic fault codes
n
Repair electrical systems, including: Lighting, Instrumentation, Ignition, Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI)
n
Dismantle and rebuild engines, transmissions and steering components
n
Perform brake adjustments and laser wheel alignments
n
Conduct test drives to ensure repair quality
n
Carry out general maintenance and component replacement
n

Ideal Candidates Will Have:
n
n
A current Trade Certificate (Motor Mechanic / Auto Electrician or equivalent)
n
Minimum 1 year of relevant full- time experience
n
Strong skills in diagnostics and fault tracing
n
Experience working with Japanese/European vehicles, 4WDs, or trucks
n
Ability to perform under pressure in a rapid-paced environment
n
OEM or manufacturer training (highly regarded)
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
n
These areFull-time permanent roles.Salary range: $75,000 – $95,000 depending on experience. Additional information
