Job Description
A rare chance to join as an Associate / Vice President within a global asset manager in a highly independent investment oversight function, reviewing and challenging valuations across infrastructure, agriculture, renewables and other real assets globally.

The role sits at the intersection of valuation, investment performance and portfolio analytics, translating asset-level insights into fund-level outcomes. You'll work independently from the underlying asset teams, partnering directly with senior investment stakeholders, external valuers and auditors, with exposure across global portfolios and investment strategies.

Responsibilities

Reviewing and challenging valuations prepared by asset teams, supported by market benchmarking and comparable analysis
n
Managing the relationship with external valuers across both Positive Assurance and Full Valuation cadences
n
Preparing materials for valuation committees, and maintaining governance documentation, exception logs, trigger assessments and audit trails to a standard that withstands regulatory scrutiny
n
Tracking and reporting key performance metrics,



including valuation drivers and bridge analysis, and performance commentary for board papers and LP reporting
n
Participating in fund strategy and portfolio composition discussions, including capital deployment, sector exposure and portfolio construction
n
Contributing to broader APAC and global initiatives beyond the ANZ portfolio

Qualifications
n
n
3-7 years' experience in valuations, transaction services, infrastructure or real assets advisory or a closely related buy-side or sell-side role
n
Strong working knowledge of DCF valuation mechanics and modelling
n
Comfort with IRR attribution, valuation bridge analysis and fund-level performance analytics; advanced Excel modelling expected
n
Exposure to infrastructure or real assets valuation is a strong advantage, given asset class nuances - regulated pricing, concession structures and long-duration cash flows
n
Familiarity with IPEV or RICS valuation standards, or a clear willingness to develop that knowledge quickly
