The Opportunity:
n
This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing FIFO employee to transition into an Environmental role and build a long-term career. This position is suited to someone with practical problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Previous mining or FIFO experience is highly regarded but not essential.
n
If you enjoy working outdoors, this role offers plenty of field-based work, including environmental monitoring and sampling, with excellent opportunities for development and career progression.
n
You'll make a meaningful impact by supporting the Environment team to ensure the mine meets its environmental obligations.

What You'll Do
n

Environmental monitoring, including collecting and sending water and soil samples
n
Conduct environmental inspections and maintain records
n
Use drones to capture imagery and assist with data collection
n
Support waste management, fauna handling, and pastoral activities
n
Suitable for hands-on operators
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
Experience in fieldwork or mining operations
n
Ability to work outdoors in remote conditions and varying weather
n
A valid manual driver's licence
n
