We proudly deliver diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine services to in-patients of Latrobe Regional Hospital and outpatients of the Latrobe Valley and surrounding regions. We also provide interventional radiology 24/7 for both inpatients and outpatients.

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our medical imaging team, on a casual basis.
n
I-MED Radiology is a tertiary referral, private imaging practice located at Latrobe Regional Hospital, Victoria.
n

Reporting to theArea Nurse Coordinator and working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team you will provide high-quality nursing support and recovery services to the clinic.Additional training available for the right candidate.
n
The successful applicant will be successful applicant will perform the following duties:
n
n
Patient assessment, preparation and monitoring
n
Cannulation and IV access
n
Assisting with interventional and diagnostic procedures
n
Management of sedated patients and post-procedure care
n
Infection control, WHS and medication safety practices
n




Handling emergency situations and maintaining emergency equipment and drug compliance
n
Delivering compassionate care in high-acuity and high-anxiety environments
n
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary imaging team - liaising with radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, referrers and the administration team.
n

Key selection criteria:
n
n
Full AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and autonomously within a multidisciplinary team
n
Robust interpersonal and communication skills
n
Well-developed time management and organisational skills
n
Ability to work a flexible roster
n
n
Desirable but not essential:
n
n
Previous Experience in Radiology/Surgical/Procedural Nursing
n
Anaesthetic Experience
n
n
