About our school
n Holy Spirit is a vibrant, happy and welcoming Primary School. We are a close-knit community with a strong connection to our Parish in Bray Park. Each year level is comprised of three classes, supported by a comprehensive Learning Support Team and School Officers. Student wellbeing and progress is central. Our Year Level Teams work collaboratively to prepare and plan for optimal engagement for all students; each Team is well supported by the Primary Learning Leader and other key personnel. We promote a positive work culture through regular professional development opportunities, allocated non-contact time, effective contemporary resourcing, staff wellbeing activities and a true sense of belonging. The school is well-resourced with 1-1 iPads for students and IT devices provided for each staff member.

Summary

Use your expertise to advise on and manage the school's risk and compliance systems to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
n

Location: Holy Spirit School, BRAY PARK
n
Work hours: ***** hours per week (Thursday and Friday)

Status:Term Time Continuing

School holidays off! (Unpaid)

About the opportunity
n
In this position you will be responsible for:
n
n
Overseeing the development, maintenance and operations of relevant systems and resources and recommending improvements to processes and procedures.
n
Developing and interpreting legislation, regulations, procedures and other guideline material relating to operations within the school.
n
Delivering and advising staff, students, and the school community on policy updates and publishing via appropriate channels.
n
Facilitating the completion and report on risk and compliance tasks through the appropriate avenues
n
Advising and facilitating the conduct of risk assessments by responsible staff members for school events.
n
n
About you
n
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
n
n
Expertise in developing, maintaining, and improving operational systems and processes.
n
Strong understanding of legislation, regulations,
and guidelines to interpret and apply within a school setting.
n
Ability to communicate policy updates clearly to a wide variety of groups and stakeholders.
n
Experience in managing and reporting on risk and compliance tasks effectively.li>
n
Skilled in advising and facilitating risk assessments for events.
n
Tertiary qualification at Associate Diploma/Diploma in a related field
n
For this position you are not required to be Catholic.

Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment

Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
