As the Accounts Payable Team Lead, you will have 4 direct reports and be responsible for managing the accounts payable function. The company is located in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne (parking on-site) and they allow versatile working conditions.

Position Description
n
Your daily tasks will include but not be limited to the following duties;
n
n
Leading a team of 4 Accounts Payable Officers
n
Be the Accounts Payable point of contact with key stakeholders
n
Mentor and develop team performance
n
Liaising with suppliers and perform reconciliations
n
Maintain and develop relationships with existing supplier
n
Review and analyse current processes identifying key areas of improvement
n
Other tasks as directed by management
n
n




Candidate Profile
n
n
Proven experience within a leadership position
n
Strong accounts payable management experience
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Experience in a high-volume environment
n
Strong month-end and year-end reporting experience
n
A process improvement mindset and experience with process improvement and system improvement projects
n
