We are seeking a full-time Hospitality Teacher to join us for Term 4, ****, covering a period of leave.
n
This fixed-term role offers the opportunity to work with motivated students in a team-oriented and supportive academic environment while contributing to the intellectual and personal development of young men.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Teach Hospitality Practices & Food Studies, delivering curriculum aligned with QCAA requirements
n
Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous learning experiences across Years 8-12
n
Deliver assessment and feedback practices that support student progress
n
Monitor student achievement and use evidence to inform teaching and improve learning outcomes
n
Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
n
About You
n
The successful applicant will:
n
Hold relevant qualifications to teach Hospitality
n
Hold current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration
n
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice across the relevant learning areas
n
Have experience delivering QCAA-aligned programs in a secondary school setting
n
Contribute positively to the professional culture of the College and support whole-school initiatives
n
Support and participate in the spiritual life and mission of the College, modelling its values and nurturing the holistic development of students
n
Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and the wider College community
n
