About the role
The Payroll Officer is responsible for effective management of the Payroll function of the Banking & Finance sector.
This position is responsible for preparation and salary / Super payment and maintenance of related records, in a timely manner and in line with relevant taxation, legislative and audit requirements.
Key responsibilities
Calculate and process employee entitlements including wages, superannuation contributions and employee benefits in accordance with awards and enterprise agreements
Liaise with employees and managers regarding payroll queries and employment-related matters
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and employee information
Support the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and processes
Processing recent employees, terminations & statutory related payments etc
Reconcile payroll, payroll tax, insurance and authorized payroll deduction
Calculate and maintain leave entitlement
Provide reports to management as required to satisfy the payroll related information requests of the department
Any adhoc duties / project assigned via department
Requirements
Meridian mircopay experience is A MUST
A minimum of 2 years local related end to end payroll experience
Fluency in English & Mandarin communication skills at all level
Bachelor qualification and above
Valuable team player and attention to details
Able to meet the deadlines at all time & valuable time management
