About the Role

Our client is seeking a hands-on and motivated Field Service Technician to join our growing QLD team. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, servicing and technical support of packaging equipment across customer sites.

Key Responsibilities




Conduct preventative maintenance and servicing at customer sites
Diagnose faults and complete repairs onsite and in the workshop
Set up and test recent and returned equipment
Complete detailed service reports within 24 hours
Identify follow-up work and prepare quotations
Provide clear and qualified customer communication

Success in the Role
Up to 15 services completed per week
Timely and accurate service reporting
Strong customer relationships and satisfaction
Identification of additional service opportunities

Skills & Experience
Experience in preventative maintenance or a similar role
Strong mechanical aptitude
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
High attention to detail

Requirements
Current driver's licence
Physically fit and reliable
Limited electrical licence preferred but not essential
