JR Auto Service Gold Coast is a family-owned and operated mechanical workshop located in Biggera Waters, known for providing high-quality workmanship, professional service, and honest advice to customers. We service and repair a wide range of vehicles, including a high volume of European and luxury vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen and more. This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who wants to continue developing their mechanical skills in a busy and varied workshop environment.

Key responsibilities
n
n
General mechanical repairs and maintenance
n
Logbook and scheduled servicing
n
Brake, suspension and steering repairs
n
Engine and general mechanical repairs
n
Basic diagnostics and fault finding
n
Vehicle inspections
n
Identifying additional repairs or maintenance required
n
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship
n
Keeping your work area clean and organised
n
n
About you
n
n
Be a qualified Motor Mechanic or currently studying towards an automotive mechanical qualification
n
If currently studying, have good practical mechanical knowledge and previous hands‐on workshop experience
n




Have previous experience working in a mechanical workshop
n
Be confident carrying out servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs
n
Have good mechanical fault‐finding skills
n
Experience working with European vehicles is highly regarded, but not essential
n
Be able to work independently where appropriate and also work well as part of a team
n
Have strong attention to detail and take pride in their workmanship
n
Be reliable, punctual and organised
n
Hold a valid Australian Driver Licence
n
