Kenbury is currently working with a leading Australian financial services and corporate advisory platform seeking to appoint an Analyst to its Sydney team.

This is a broad corporate advisory role offering exposure across M&A;, IPOs, secondary capital raisings, private capital, structured debt and hybrid capital transactions for listed and unlisted companies.
n
Working alongside experienced senior bankers, the successful candidate will contribute to financial analysis, modelling, transaction execution, client presentations and origination initiatives. The role offers genuine generalist exposure across both M&A; and capital markets within a collaborative, high-quality advisory environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Analyst to develop broad transaction experience across M&A; and capital markets while learning from a highly experienced corporate advisory team.

Key Responsibilities
n

Supporting the execution of M&A; and capital markets transactions
n
Preparing financial and operational models, including three-way models and DCF valuations
n
Undertaking comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
n
Assisting with transaction timetables, due diligence and data-room management
n




Preparing information memorandums, management presentations and other transaction materials
n
Developing client pitches, presentations and marketing materials
n
Conducting industry research, market analysis and asset screening
n
Supporting senior bankers in identifying and developing origination opportunities
n
Attending client meetings and progressively developing industry and client relationships
n

Candidate Requirements
n
n
Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, economics or a related discipline
n
Approximately 2-5 years of relevant experience in corporate advisory, investment banking, ECM, M&A;, transaction services or a related field
n
Strong academic results
n
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
n
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
High attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
n
A cooperative approach, strong work ethic and genuine interest in corporate advisory
n
Previous ECM or broader capital markets experience will be highly regarded
n
