About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, safety-focusedBoilermaker / Metal Fabricatorto join our team.
This role is structured for an early-career tradesperson looking to consolidate their trade skills and work on diverse, practical projects in a supportive team environment.
Working alongside our experienced Tradespeople, Leading Hands and Supervisors, you will perform fabrication, assembly, repair, and maintenance across a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate, assemble, repair, and maintain structural components and machinery.
Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
Execute precise cutting, shaping, bending, and heat-treating of metal products.
Perform welding and thermal cutting techniques, including Stick, MIG, TIG, oxy cutting, and air arc gouging.
Inspect and clean welds to ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
Safely operate hand tools, machinery, and welding equipment.
Complete daily job sheets, workshop upkeep, and safety reporting.
Position Requirements
Qualification:Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication (or recognised trade equivalent).
Licence:Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Core Competencies:Practical understanding of standard fabrication methods, tools, and drawing interpretation.
Safety & Attitude:Strong safety focus, reliable work ethic, and a team-first mindset.
