Detailed Job Description:
Seeking a senior platform engineer tolead the migration of the internal platform from its current RKE-baseddeployment to OpenShift.
This is an ownership role — the candidate will drivethe migration from design through to full productization and operational handover,working closely with SMEs.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end migrationof the platform from RKE to OpenShift from design through build, testing, andfull productization.
Take/participate in platformre-architecture decisions in collaboration with SMEs




Stand up and configure theOpenShift environment, ensuring parity and improvement over the existingRKE-based platform.
Implementfulloperationalization:monitoring, alerting, and alarm integration for the newplatform.
Manage onboarding of L1/L2support teams onto the current platform, including runbooks and supportprocesses.
Take complete technicalownership of the migration programme, coordinating with cross-functionalstakeholders.
Support APIGeeplatformintegrationpoints as required
Required Skills &Experience;
Strong hands-on expertise in OpenShift(design, deployment, and administration).
Strong understanding /experience of RKE (the platform being migrated away from).
Experiencewithplatform/infrastructuremigration projects, ideally in a telecom or networkoperator environment.
Familiarity withmonitoring/alerting/observabilitytoolingand operationalization practices.
Ability to work independentlyand take end-to-end ownership of a transformation programme.
Telecom/network domainexposureis highly desirable.
