As aCareer & Workplace Support Specialist in Southport, you'll play a vital role in helping people with intellectual disability prepare for, secure and maintain sustainable employment, while partnering with employers to create inclusive, thriving workplaces.
n
You'll work closely with both job seekers and employers to design and deliver solutions that reduce turnover, improve retention, and support successful long-term employment outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing:
n
n
Provide tailored support to job seekers and employers to ensure sustainable employment outcomes.
n
Identify and implement interventions that reduce employment risks and enhance inclusion.
n
Build strong relationships with local employers, identify new employment opportunities, and develop long-term partnerships.
n
Coordinate diversity training and customised employment solutions where needed.
n
Monitor progress, document support activities, and meet key performance milestones.
n
n
What You'll Bring:
n
Experience supporting people with intellectual disability in employment,



education, or community services.
n
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Proven ability to deliver customer-centric, outcome-focused support.
n
Commercial acumen, with the ability to work to targets and identify employment opportunities, alongside an understanding of workforce planning and diversity initiatives.
n
Qualifications or experience in employment services, training, or community development (highly desirable).
n
