Intercon Engineering is delivering projects across NSW and is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the mechanical and electrical engineering function on a major projects in Sydney.

You will manage the M&E; design, coordination and delivery process — ensuring building services are well-coordinated, compliant, and delivered on time for construction — and lead coordination across the project team, consultants and subcontractors.

You will manage the M&E; design, coordination and delivery process — ensuring building services are well-coordinated, compliant, and delivered on time for construction — and lead coordination across the project team, consultants and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Lead M&E; combined-services and builder's works drawing preparation through to construction‐ready status.
n




Manage the BIM coordination process using a Common Data Environment (e.g. Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360) and tools such as Revit and Navisworks to resolve clashes, routing and design issues and run code‐standards checks.
n
Chair M&E; coordination meetings.
n
Coordinate with clients, consultants and the architectural and structural disciplines to meet design and contract requirements.
n
Oversee space‐proofing, equipment‐delivery methodology and installation‐sequence drawings.
n
Monitor project drawings, technical data and documentation through design, construction and handover.
n

Skills & experience
n
n
Tertiary qualification in mechanical and electrical ...
n
Substantial experience managing M&E;/MEP engineering on major building or infrastructure projects.
n
Solid BIM capability (Revit, Navisworks; CDE platforms).
n
Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary coordination and delivering to a construction programme.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
n
