The Role:
n We're seeking a qualified High Voltage Electrician to join our FIFO team on major infrastructure projects across Australia. This is a hands‐on role in high‐voltage substation environments, offering exposure to cutting‐edge HV assets, construction, testing, and commissioning works.
n
What You'll Be Doing:
n
Install, maintain, and commission high voltage electrical systems (11kV–330kV)
n
Perform switching and isolation in accordance with relevant network operator rules
n
Conduct cable terminations, testing, and equipment connections
n




Work within live substations under strict safety and compliance frameworks (PSSR, SWMS)
n
Collaborate with experienced supervisors, engineers, and project managers
n
What You'll Need:
n
Electrical Trade Certificate and current Electrical Licence
n
HV Switching and/or Authorisation (preferred)
n
Experience in substation construction or maintenance
n
Minimum 1-2 years of substation experience required
n
White Card, CPR/LVR, and High Risk Licences (EWP, Forklift, etc. desirable)
n
Ability to pass a full medical and D&A; test
n
Commitment to FIFO rosters 10/4 & 14/7
