The Opportunity

Murrumbidgee LHD is seeking Surgical Registrars (PGY4+) to support hospitals across the district. You'll work across elective and emergency surgical units, assist in theatre, manage pre- and post-op care, and support acute presentations through ED.
n
This is an ideal role for registrars building toward SET or with existing experience managing unsupervised ward and on-call responsibilities in a rural hospital.

Clinical Environment
n
n
General Surgery with access to subspecialty visiting services
n
Exposure to elective lists, emergency theatre, and trauma
n
On-call and after-hours rosters available (higher rate)
n
Solid consultant backup and junior support in most sites
n
n
Eligibility Criteria
n
n
AHPRA Registration
n
PGY4+ with recent experience in General Surgery
n
ALS2 preferred; strong clinical judgement required
n




NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
n
n
