As Facilities Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring Komatsu's Western Region sites and branches provide a safe, compliant, and high-quality working environment for our employees and visitors. Working closely with the Facilities Team, you will coordinate a broad range of facilities activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory, statutory, and Komatsu requirements.

This role is integral to the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities, while also supporting continuous improvement across the region.
n
The Facilities Tech role will including standardised maintenance practices, environmental compliance, and capital and improvement projects in partnership with Corporate Planning.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Involved in facilities maintenance and service activities across Western Region sites and branches.
n
Supporting compliance with regulatory, statutory, environmental, and Komatsu policy requirements.
n
Handling facilities-related administration, contractor coordination, and documentation.
n
Assisting with site improvement and maintenance projects.
n
Supporting the implementation of consistent facilities standards and processes across the region.
n
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders,
branch teams, and external service providers.
n

Role Located: Welshpool
n
Roster: 5:2 – 38 hours per week + potential overtime
n
n
Relevant trade qualification.
n
Previous Handyman experience required
n
Current licences, or the ability to obtain licences, for equipment such as forklifts and overhead gantry cranes.
n
Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain one (desirable).
n
Sound understanding of workplace safety and HSC.
n
Knowledge of MS Office packages
n
n
