About the Role:
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, this role is responsible for optimising the performance, availability and safety of fixed plant by undertaking preventative maintenance, statutory inspections, repairs, installation and construction tasks. The role includes electrical maintenance of the processing plant, high voltage switching and instrumentation work.
This position operates on a 15:13 day shift roster, with competitive salaries reflective of the roster, and participation in an on-call roster as required.
Responsibilities:
Conduct breakdown and preventative maintenance on all fixed plant and site infrastructure
Prepare and execute high voltage switching programs and isolations
Camp maintenance, including kitchen and village accommodation
Complete statutory testing and inspections in accordance with Australian Standards
Proactively identify and report hazards and eliminate risk-taking behaviours
Maintain clear communication within the team and across departments
Comply with all Company Policies, Procedures, and Values
Education and Experience:
Electrical Trade Certificate
Current Electrical Licence
High Voltage Switching Qualification
Minimum 3 years’ experience working on processing plants with preventative maintenance systems
WA C Class Driver’s Licence
Certificate IV in Instrumentation (desirable)
Elevated Work Platform (desirable)
Forklift Licence (desirable)
Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work as part of a multi-skilled workforce
Robust commitment to safety-driven operations
Sound knowledge of electrical schematics with proven fault-finding ability
