Sunpork is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Labourer to join our team at Wasleys, SA. This is a Permanent - Full Time position. As a Maintenance Labourer, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks to ensure the effective maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. Your main duties will include:
Assisting with general maintenance tasks such as repairs, painting, and cleaning
Operating and maintaining various hand and power tools
Performing routine inspections of equipment and reporting any issues promptly
Assisting with the setup and dismantling of equipment as required
Following all health and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment
Supporting other team members in completing maintenance projects efficiently
The ideal candidate will have a solid work ethic, good physical stamina, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Previous experience in a maintenance role would be advantageous but not essential. Proven experience in general maintenance work, including repairs and upkeep of facilities and equipment
Ability to perform physical tasks and operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to maintenance work environments
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
A valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required
