Administration Officer

Location: Springwood (primary clinic) with occasional shifts at Greenslopes Hospital.

Position Summary

The Administration Officer is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a key part in creating a qualified, welcoming, and productive environment.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome patients and visitors to the clinic.
Answer phone calls, emails, and online enquiries.
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
Process payments through EFTPOS and HICAPS.
Manage patient records while maintaining confidentiality.
Assist with Medicare, DVA, WorkCover, and private health fund administration.
Maintain clinician schedules and assist with diary management.
Coordinate referrals and communicate with GPs, specialists, and other healthcare providers.
Support clinicians with general administrative tasks.
Assist with social media updates and marketing activities as required.





Skills and Experience
Previous reception or administration experience (healthcare experience preferred but not essential).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
High attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Proficiency with Cliniko
Professional presentation and a positive attitude.

Employment Type
Full-time or Part-time available
Shifts primarily based at the main clinic, with approximately one shift per fortnight at the Greenslopes location.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
