Full time | Winnellie | Monday to Friday + Every Third Weekend
We are seeking a capable, hands-on Operations Supervisor / Driver to join our team in Winnellie.
This is a varied operational role combining day-to-day transport coordination, customer service, fleet and driver support, and driving duties when required. You will play an significant role in keeping daily services running smoothly while supporting both the operations team and our customers.
This role will suit someone who is organised, practical and confident making decisions in a busy transport environment.
Your Role
Working across both operations and driving, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating daily transport operations, bookings, vehicle movements and driver requirements.
Supporting drivers throughout the day and responding to operational changes as they arise.
Monitoring vehicle dispatch, fleet availability and workshop requirements.
Communicating with customers regarding bookings, itineraries, changes and service requirements.
Preparing and entering charter quotations and bookings into the CMS system.
Following up quotations and confirming bookings with customers.
Managing inbound calls, enquiries and operational requests.
Assisting with driver scheduling and ensuring services are appropriately resourced.
Monitoring daily schedules and proactively resolving delays, changes or other operational issues.
Assisting with compliance requirements, including WHS procedures, documentation and reporting.
Providing operational supervision and support during busy periods.
Driving vehicles and completing passenger transport services as required.
Providing coverage for drivers during leave, absences or periods of increased demand.
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this position, you must have:
A current MR Driver Licence.
A current H Endorsement.
The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical.
Confidence operating passenger transport vehicles.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A practical, solutions-focused approach to operational problems.
The ability to work independently while also supporting a broader team.
Valuable computer skills and confidence learning booking and operational systems.
Previous experience in transport, tourism, logistics, charter operations or passenger services will be highly regarded.
