We're looking for Mental Health RNs who are keen to join a multidisciplinary team and deliver high-quality care to Defence members in a permanent part‐time role, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm.

About The Health Centre
n
Enoggera Health Centre, located at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane, is the primary base for this position and supports nearby facilities including Victoria, Bulimba, and Damascus Barracks. Established in ****, Gallipoli Barracks is the largest military base in South Queensland, home to approximately 8,000 members and the Deployable Joint Force Headquarters.

What You'll Do
n
n
Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members
n




Conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care.
n
Undertaking assessments, interventions, managing medications, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions
n
Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount
n

What You Bring
n
n
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
One of the following:n
n
ACMHN credentialed
n
Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing
n
Mental Health trained nurse / UK trained undergraduate Mental Health Nurse
n
n
Minimum two years' Post RN general registration experience within last five years in mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting
n
Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' and 'Psychological Therapy' as per Medicare Schedule
n
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
n
Australian Citizenship required to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
n
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
n
