HR/Backhoe operator and 5 tonne excavator/labourer with DRFA experience

Ravenshoe| Civil Construction | Road & Disaster Recovery Projects

Achieve Group is seeking experienced BackhoeOperators with HR licenses& 5 Tonne Excavator operators/Labourers for upcoming and ongoing TMR and DRFA road construction and disaster recovery projects in Ravenshoe.
n
We are particularly interested in operators who have previously worked on TMR projects, DRFA/NDRRA reconstruction works or major civil road projects and understand the standards, safety requirements and expectations associated with government-funded infrastructure works.
n
Depending on the project, works will include:
n
n
Flood and disaster-damaged road reconstruction
n
Pavement rehabilitation and reconstruction
n
Formation and subgrade works
n
Bulk and detailed earthworks
n
Drainage and culvert works
n
Batter and table drain construction
n
Road widening and upgrades
n
Gravel re-sheeting
n




Final trim and finishing works
n
General civil and road maintenance activities
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Previous TMR and/or DRFA/NDRRA project experience essential
n
Demonstrated experience operating relevant plant in civil road construction
n
Current relevant plant competencies/tickets
n
Construction White Card
n
Current driver's licence
n
Solid understanding of civil construction and roadworks
n
Ability to complete daily pre-starts and basic plant inspections
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Ability to work effectively as part of a civil construction crew
n
Ability to work away from home where required
n
Reliable work history and contactable references
n
