WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for experienced Kitchen Hands with a love for great food and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to join our Gold Licensed catering company,HostCo, on the main campus of University of Sydney.
n

WHAT YOU WILL DO
n
n
Bring energy and a positive attitude to support a high‐performing kitchen team delivering great customer experiences
n
Work alongside professional chefs to maintain clean, organised, high‐standard kitchens
n
Own key kitchen tasks stock handling, prep support, cleaning, and keeping operations safe, efficient, and service‐ready
n
n
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
n
n
2 years + previous experience working in a similar fast paced functions, cafe or restaurant environment
n
Previous experience working with a commercial dishwasher,



washing the dishes, cleaning and sanitising a kitchen
n
Exposure to food production and basic cooking processes
n
The ability to lift up to 15 kilograms
n
n
DESIRABLE SKILLS
n
n
Experienced in driving vans and larger vehicles, and open to further training to drive vans to various venues as needed
n
Knowledge and previous experience in working with chemicals
n
n

THE PAY
n
$***** (inclusive of 25% casual loading)per hour + 12% Superannuation
n
In addition to the standard hourly rate, penalty rates apply for shifts worked after 6:00pm on weekdays, with increased rates available for event work on Saturdays and Sundays.
n
HOURS OFWORK
n
This is a casual role:rotating roster up to 38 hours per week, Monday to Sunday between 7am - 11:30pm
n
*You must be available to work a minimum of 3- 4 shifts a week, each shift consists of a minimum of 4 hours.
n
