Hi-Trans Express is currently seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our Brisbane operations team in Rocklea. This is a hands-on role focused on the safe and efficient loading of Linehaul freight to ensure timely vehicle departures from our depot.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Safely operate a forklift to load and unload freight
n
Load outgoing Linehaul freight and scan accordingly
n
Unload local PUD freight
n
Control freight including pallets, awkward/oversized cargo, and dangerous goods
n
Open and close tautliner vehicles,



gates, and apply strapping
n
Ensure compliance with load restraint standards
n
Maintain accurate freight scanning and staging
n
Support general depot duties as required
n
n
To be successful, you must have:
n
n
A current LF Forklift Licence
n
Minimum 2 years' recent experience loading Linehaul freight
n
Knowledge of Linehaul load distribution
n
Experience handling oversize and dangerous goods
n
Understanding of load restraint compliance
n
The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
n
n
Additional Requirements
n
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and national police check
n
