A market leading Tier 2 contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking an experiencedProject Coordinatorto join their growing business.
n
AsProject Coordinator,you will need to have strong commercial acumen, contracts management, design management, OHS, programming / planning experience as well as running meetings with consultants and subcontractors to provide a high-quality service that will ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
n
They work across refurbishments, repairs, remediation, demolition, façade, upgrades, HVAC etc. on buildings and civil works as well. Will be running projects from smaller up to $5m+ with some projects going to $20m+. Projects are generally Industrial, Defence or Commercial in nature,



experience with similar projects in these sectors or similar across buildings and infrastructure will be an advantage.

Years of experience: 2 - 4 years +
n
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
n
n
Project delivery from inception through to completion
n
Ensure construction programmes are followed & deliver on project quality to programme
n
Identify and manage construction risk through all projects, escalating issues when required
n
Manage project expenditure and cash flow
n
Management and achievement of external engineering design aspects of projects
n
Design management
n
Manage subcontractors on site
n
Manage and maintain HSEQ requirements on the project
n
Produce progress reports
n
Deliver and manage client expectations
n
n
Qualifications and Requirements:
n
n
Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or similar
n
Minimum 2 years+ experience in the successful delivery of projects from start to finish ideally with some civil, buildings, marine or utilities experience
n
Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements / standards
n
Strong planning and project financial reporting skills
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Well-developed interpersonal skills
n
Experience with Microsoft Office suite
n
Construction Safety Induction (white) card
n
n
