Metal / Mechanical Tradesman and or Skilled Trades Assistant

Tubeworx Australia is an engineering production company that manufactures and supplies custom tube and pipe assemblies for a broad range of Australian industries, including aerospace, mining, defence, OEM, automotive, construction and industrial sectors. We are seeking a Metal / Mechanical Tradesman or skilled Trades Assistant to join our dynamic workshop environment.

Key responsibilities
n
Work with advanced hand tools and power tools
n
Operate CNC machinery and tube bending equipment
n
Work within a mechanical and production environment
n
Work with hydraulic fittings
n
Read and understand technical drawings
n
Maintain high attention to detail in all work
n
Adhere to protected working practices
n
About you
n
Previous experience with advanced hand tools and power tools
n




Experience working within a mechanical or production environment
n
Knowledge of hydraulic fittings and ability to read and understand technical drawings
n
Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
n
Highly organised with excellent communication skills
n
Dedicated to safe working practice
n
Forklift licence preferred
n
Exposure to operation of CNC machinery and tube bending equipment is a distinct advantage
n
Australian citizen or permanent residency status in Australia required
