The 80-bed residential aged care home situated in Mackay, QLD has the passion and support from the local community to exist as a thriving Aged Care facility with the team focused on delivering high-quality care.

About the role:
n
The Clinical Nurse will be responsible for the provision and co-ordination of quality care standards, compliance and education programs that meets the individual needs of the residents and management of the clinical care staff team.
n
Duties:
n
n
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care sector, including ACFI and accreditation standards and processes.
n
Coordinate, educate and mentor the clinical staff
n
Support the Clinical Manager in all operations of the facility
n




Assist the aged care home to strive for achieving 100% compliance with Quality standards 100% of the time
n
n
Skills and experience:
n
n
Current Registration as Registered Nurse
n
Tertiary qualifications in Health, Nursing or Social Sciences
n
Aged Care Clinical Nurse/RNIC experience
n
Experience in working closely with multidisciplinary teams
n
n
