Key Responsibilities
n
n
Oversee development projects from sales through settlement and final delivery.
n
Ensure projects meet contractual, government and organisational requirements.
n
Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, resources, quality and key deliverables.
n
Lead complex greenfield and urban development projects through planning, approvals, procurement, construction and handover.
n
Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and delivery outcomes.
n
Build strong relationships with developers, contractors, buyers, government agencies and key stakeholders.
n
Provide clear, influential advice and reporting to senior executives and government stakeholders.
n
Lead multidisciplinary teams across employees, consultants and contractors.
n
Manage procurement, contracts, governance, compliance and project risks.
n
Represent the organisation at stakeholder meetings, forums and community engagement activities.
n
Provide leadership and support to team members, including capability and performance development.
n
Manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight timeframes.
n
Provide strategic and operational advice to support project and organisational decision-making.
n
Maintain a strong focus on commercial, community and government objectives.
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
10+ years' relevant experience in project management, development, engineering, architecture or a related field.
n
Demonstrated experience delivering complex land,
urban development or major infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
n
Strong project and program management skills across planning, approvals, procurement, construction and handover.
n
Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, risks, milestones and performance requirements.
n
Solid commercial, contract management, procurement and governance capability.
n
Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in complex environments.
n
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
n
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
n
Strong understanding of risk, compliance and governance frameworks.
n
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
n
Collaborative leadership style, strong integrity and accountability.
n
n
Qualifications & Experience
n
Candidates will have recognised qualifications and/or substantial experience in a relevant discipline, including:
n
n
Engineering: Relevant four-year degree or higher qualification recognised by the appropriate Australian professional body, plus 10+ years' relevant experience.
n
Architecture: Relevant three-year degree or higher qualification recognised by an Australian state or territory architecture authority, plus 10+ years' relevant experience.
n
Project Management: Relevant Diploma, professional certification or equivalent qualification with substantial project management experience, or at least 10 years' relevant project management experience.
