Norton Gold Fields is seeking an experiencedCivil & Earthworks Supervisorto join our Project Development team at our Binduli operations in Kalgoorlie.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction professional to take ownership of civil and earthworks activities across a major multidisciplinary project. Reporting to the Binduli Site Manager, you will coordinate contractors and construction activities while ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and within budget.

AS CIVIL AND EARTHWORKS SUPERVISOR, YOU WILL:
n
n
Supervise and coordinate civil, earthworks and associated temporary works across the project.
n
Organise and direct construction activities in line with project schedules, budgets and quality requirements.
n
Monitor contractor performance and ensure agreed production targets and project milestones are achieved.
n
Monitor schedules, QA/QC requirements, costs, work hours, budgets and project expenditure.
n
Ensure safe and environmentally responsible work practices are implemented and maintained.
n
Identify hazards, assess risks and ensure appropriate controls are implemented.
n
Provide leadership, direction and performance management to employees and contractors.
n
Identify and escalation potential contract variations, maintaining accurate supporting records.
n
Work closely with engineering, project management,



construction teams and external contractors to deliver project outcomes.
n

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL IDEALLY HAVE:
n
n
Extensive experience delivering civil infrastructure projects within the construction industry.
n
Previous supervisory or leadership experience within civil construction.
n
Experience working on large, multidisciplinary projects from conception through to completion.
n
Strong understanding of design, engineering, construction and commissioning documentation.
n
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a quick-paced project environment.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.li>
n
A collaborative leadership style with the ability to build productive relationships across internal teams and contractors.
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications.
n
Senior First Aid certification will be highly regarded.
