Position Summary
n
Exciting opportunity to join a well-established company as a skilled Repair Technician with expertise in electronics and mechanical systems. You will diagnose, repair, calibrate, and maintain a diverse range of plastic welding tools and testing equipment. This dynamic hybrid role blends hands-on technical work with estimation and sales support, giving you the chance to build strong client relationships, provide expert advice, and deliver tailored solutions that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of Plastic Welding Tools and associated electronic and mechanical equipment.
n
Prepare detailed repair quotations, including parts, labour, and lead-times.
n
Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnostics, repair options, and costs.
n
Support the quoting process by evaluating incoming equipment or customer specs.
n
Maintain accurate records of service work, quotes, and parts used.
n
Collaborate with the sales and service teams to follow up on open quotes and customer inquiries.
n
Adhere to safety protocols, certification standards, and internal quality guidelines.
n

Qualifications
n
n
Technical Certification in Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
n
Minimum 2–3 years of hands‐on repair experience (electronics, mechanical or both).
n
Proven experience preparing or assisting with technical sales quotes.
n
Strong diagnostic and problem‐solving skills.
n
Familiarity with test tools, hand tools, and technical schematics.
n
Proficiency with MS Office and quoting or ERP systems is a plus.
n
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
n
Detail‐oriented, self‐motivated, and customer‐service focused.
n

Preferred

n
Previous experience with both power tools and electronics.
n
Background in industrial, medical, or commercial equipment repair.
n
