A well-established residential aged care home is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Lifestyle Coordinator to lead its lifestyle and wellbeing program.
n

About the Role
n
As the Lifestyle Coordinator, you will lead the planning and delivery of engaging lifestyle, recreation and wellbeing programs for residents.
n
This role combines program development, resident engagement, team coordination and documentation, while working closely with residents, families, care teams and volunteers.
n
This is a non-clinical role focused on resident wellbeing, engagement and quality of life.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and coordinate the home's lifestyle and wellbeing program
n
Develop activities around residents' interests, abilities and preferences
n
Create individual and group activities that encourage connection and purpose
n
Support and coordinate lifestyle staff and volunteers
n




Build strong relationships with residents, families and the wider community
n
Maintain lifestyle assessments, care plans and relevant documentation
n
Work collaboratively with care and clinical teams to support resident wellbeing
n
Review programs regularly and introduce recent ideas based on resident feedback
n
n
About You
n
You are a warm, creative and highly organised individual who genuinely enjoys building relationships with older people and creating meaningful experiences.
n
You will also bring:
n
n
Previous experience in a Lifestyle Coordinator or similar aged care role
n
Experience working within residential aged care
n
Relevant qualification in leisure, lifestyle, diversional therapy or similar
n
Experience developing and coordinating resident lifestyle programs
n
Confidence coordinating lifestyle staff, volunteers and activitiesCurrent Police Check or willingness to obtain one
n
