The Responsibilities
n
As the Remedial Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
n
n
Site Investigations and diagnosis of building defects,
n
Preparing technical site reports, building condition reports and building defects reports,
n
Preparing scope of works documents, design drawings, tender and contract documentation,
n
Managing projects on-site and inspect construction works,
n




Delivering projects to a high standard of quality and expertise,
n
Liaising with Clients and Contractors to build relationships and business growth initiatives,
n
Preparing fee proposals and meeting minute documents,
n
Producing, reviewing, and checking designs and specifications in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards and National Construction Codes under limited supervision,
n
Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary workplace, and,
n
Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders as necessary.

The Requirements
n
n
An Engineering degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
n
Valid driving license
n
Minimum 1 years post-graduate remedial engineering consultancy experience
n
Previous experience in preparing remedial building reports, technical specifications, and tender documentation,
n
Excellent written and oral communication skills,
n
Familiarity with the Strata and residential industry or working on construction projects,
n
Full working rights in Australia
