My Melbourne Tutors is a well‐established and busy tutoring centre in Bentleigh East, proudly supporting students and families for over 16 years. We are now looking for an enthusiastic, organised and outgoing person to join our team in a Tutoring Centre Leader / Assistant Manager role.
n
This is a varied, hands‐on leadership role combining tutoring, administration, customer service and responsibility for the day‐to‐day running of the learning centre. The position is expected to start at 3–4 days per week, with the opportunity for the right person to increase their hours and potentially move into a full‐time position. Afternoon and evening availability is essential. Availability Saturday mornings until early afternoon preferred. Flexibility in timing around school holidays is important.

About the Role
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
Taking responsibility for the day‐to‐day running of the learning centre
n
Tutoring Maths and/or English to students
n
Communicating with parents and tutors by phone, email and text to schedule students, coordinate tutor timetables, organise payments and ensure the centre runs smoothly
n
Responding to new enquiries by phone, email and in person
n
Speaking with parents about their student's learning and progress
n




As you grow into the role you will conduct initial assessments of new students and sell our programmes to their parents
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who is:
n
Outgoing, friendly and confident when speaking with parents, students and prospective families
n
An excellent communicator, both face‐to‐face and over the phone
n
Highly organised and able to manage multiple conversations, schedules and tasks at the same time
n
Comfortable taking responsibility and working independently
n
Professional, reliable and well presented
n
Positive and enthusiastic when working with children and families
n
Able to build rapport quickly with both students and parents
n
A confident Maths and/or English tutor, with strong academic skills
n
Previous education, sales and customer service experience would be highly regarded.
