Power Platform Engineer- Newly created role

A leading independent not for profit organisation based in Sydney CBD is seeking a Power Platform Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role.
n
The role is based in Sydney CBD and is 3 days a week in the office.
n
The Power Platform Developer is responsible for the design, development and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions that combine the power of Power Apps with the capabilities of AI.
n
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Azure integrations, APIM, and Power Pages customization.
n
Responsibilities:
n
Design, develop, configure, administer and provide ongoing support across Power Platform using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, SharePoint, Azure Logic App
n
Design and configure Dataverse tables, relationships, security roles, and business rules
n
Build and deploy Azure Functions (HTTP triggers, Timer triggers, Service Bus triggers) for application logic and automation
n
Integrating Power Platform solutions with third-party systems, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 services
n
Driving governance, best practice and capability uplift across the platform
n
Monitor platform usage and performance, and build dashboards to track adoption, app/flow activity, connector usage, capacity consumption, errors, and governance/compliance metrics
n
Partner with business stakeholders to support their automation needs and drive effective use of the Power Platform

Key Skills / Experience
n
3+ years' experience in automation or lowcode- development
n
Strong hands-on experience across Microsoft Power Platform- Power apps, automate and BI
n
Very strong power apps- building complex apps
n
Building security framework
n
Security governance
n
Azure function apps and logic apps
n
API dev
n
Setting up custom rules on the app using javascript
n
Exposure administering Microsoft Power Platform environments
n
Experience with AI Builder, Copilot Studio, or Azure OpenAI- desirable
n
Power Automate cloud flows (automated, instant, scheduled)
n
Power Platform integration (Power Apps, Dataverse, Power BI)
n
Robust customer engagement experience / Consulting experience desirable
