We are currently hiring an Assistant Development Accountant based out of our Bond St, Sydney Head Office.
n
Reporting to the Development Finance Manager, this role will see you provide accounting and administrative support across Ingenia's land lease development projects; meeting reporting deadlines, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensure smooth day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Support sales and settlements by preparing settlement statements, recording deposits/refunds, calculating fortnightly commissions, and producing settlement forecast analysis
n
Assist with development finance operations including monthly journals, capex budget uploads in JDE, purchase order support, and budget reconciliations against feasibility models
n
Complete weekly bank reconciliations and prepare month‐end balance sheet reconciliations (deposits, inventory and other accounts as required)
n
Support financial reporting by preparing audit files, responding to audit queries, and assisting with investor reporting and verification
n
Work collaboratively across teams, contribute to continuous improvement, and comply with WHS policies and procedures
n

About You
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CA/CPA qualified or currently studying
n
Previous experience in a similar role or industry, with exposure to JDE or a large ERP system preferred
n
Advanced Excel skills with solid Word and PowerPoint capability
n
Highly organised, detail‐driven and able to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines
n
Proactive, responsive team player with strong communication skills, who takes ownership and strives for continuous improvement
n
