Job Description
A Sergeant position at the main entrance to the School, providing a constant presence to manage visitors, supervise pupil behaviour and appearance, and monitor the School's safety and security at College Street.

Key responsibilities
n
Provide a constant presence at the main entrance to the School
n
Manage visitors by greeting and directing all visitors as required
n
Liaise closely with the School's reception throughout the day
n
Supervise boys' behaviour and appearance
n
Monitor and maintain the School's safety and security at College Street
n
Check all deliveries at the College Street gate
n
Ensure main entrance area is clean and well presented at all times whilst on duty
n
Assist bus arrangements at the main entrance
n
Ensure the College Street main gate is open daily on school days at 7:00am
n




Be in attendance at the College Street entrance at all times when the gate is open on School days
n
About you
n
Alert the Deputy Headmaster or his delegate if a security or safety issue arises
n
Ensure all visitors to the School sign in at the main entrance unless entry is preapproved
n
Refer any pupil in flagrant breach of School rules, uniform deficiencies and/or conduct matters to the Deputy Headmaster or his delegate
n
Ensure all pupils are correctly attired in accordance with School uniform policy
n
Check lunch passes for all pupils in Forms I to IV prior to leaving the School grounds during the lunch period
