Cert IV Dental Assistant – Here's the Drill

You didn't stop at Cert III, and honestly, that tells us plenty. Pure Dentistry is looking for a Cert IV dental assistant, finished or still studying, who wants that extra effort to actually pay off: $40–$44 per hour + super, advanced chairside work, and a genuine runway into sedation assisting.

Location:

Pure Dentistry, Upper Mount Gravatt, Brisbane Southside (in the Village shopping centre) — with secure staff parking on site.

About Pure Dentistry:
n
We're a QIP-accredited, multi-dentist private clinic, caring for patients aged two to ninety-two. You may work across general, children's and emergency dentistry, plus the sedation cases most dental clinics never get to see. The tools match the work: AI-assisted clinical notes, DiagnoCam diagnostics, 3D X-rays and the EMS Airflow system for preventive care. The most old-fashioned thing here is the handshake on your first day.

The role:

Full time hours (38 per week)

What your weeks look like:
n

Put your radiography skills to work if they're part of your Cert IV.
n
Be the calm in the room for anxious patients | half the craft in a sedation clinic.
n




Run infection control and sterilisation at a standard you'd put your name to.
n
Step toward sedation assisting as you're ready. Here it's not a someday promise — it's on next week's list.
n
Help guide our trainees. You'll be someone's example of how it's done.

What we offer:

$40–$44 per hour + super on full-time hours (38 per week), with your placement in the band depending on your qualifications and experience.
n
Still studying? A $2,000 bonus when you finish your Cert IV with us (paid once you've also completed probation).

What we're looking for:

A Cert IV in Dental Assisting — completed, or currently enrolled.
n
An Australian citizen or permanent resident — we're unable to consider visa holders for this role.
n
A current driver's licence and your own car.
n
Able to commit to 38 hours per week.
n
Caring, meticulous, and holding standards as high as ours — we'll match you on that, every shift.
