Job Description
Stop scrolling. This could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
n Let's be honest. If you're a good Refrigeration Mechanic, you probably aren't short of options.
n
So if you're going to make a move, it should be for something that actually gives you a reason to leave.
n
We're working exclusively with a rapidly growing Australian business operating in the energy efficiency and electrification space, and they're looking for a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join their team.
n
This isn't your typical HVAC service role.
n
You'll be joining a business with serious growth ambitions, working with modern technology and playing a hands-on role in an industry that is changing rapidly.
n Why should you care? Because this is a sector with a future.
n
The business is helping Australian customers transition towards more energy-efficient heating, cooling and hot water solutions, with a strong focus on electrification and reducing energy consumption.
n
And they're growing.
n
That means opportunity.
n
More work. More technology. More responsibility. And potentially plenty of room for the right person to grow with the business.
n
They're not looking for someone to simply turn up, do the job and go home.
n They're looking for a Refrigeration Mechanic who takes pride in their trade and wants to be part of building something.
n
The role You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality refrigeration and HVAC work across a growing customer base.
n
Depending on your experience, this could include:
n
n
Installation, servicing and maintenance of refrigeration and HVAC equipment
n
Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
n
Working with heating, cooling and energy-efficient technologies
n
Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
n
Providing a professional experience for customers
n
Working alongside a growing team of technical and operational professionals
n
Maintaining excellent workmanship, compliance and attention to detail
n
n
What we're looking for You'll ideally be a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic with:
n
n
Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
n
Relevant refrigeration and electrical licences
n
Solid technical and fault-finding ability
n
Experience across service, maintenance and/or installation
n
A solid work ethic and pride in your workmanship
n
Good communication skills
n
A professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues
n
n
We're particularly interested in people who are curious about where the industry is heading.
n
You don't need to be an expert in every emerging technology.
n
What matters is that you've got a strong refrigeration foundation, you're willing to learn and you're interested in developing your skills as the industry evolves.
n The company We're keeping the client's identity confidential at this stage, but we can tell you this:
n
They're growing quickly.
n They're operating in a sector with significant long-term potential and have built their business around helping customers adopt smarter, more energy-productive solutions.
n
They're values-driven, ambitious and genuinely focused on doing things properly.
n
And importantly, they're building a team around people who want to be part of the journey.
n
This could be the right move if... You're currently thinking:
n
"I wouldn't mind seeing what's out there, but it would need to be worth it."
n You don't have to be actively looking.
n
But if you're a good Refrigeration Mechanic and the idea of joining a growing business in an industry with a genuine future interests you, it's worth having the conversation.
n
The company name, remuneration and full details will be discussed with suitable candidates.
