Weldingmen is looking for a motivated Metal Fabricator Apprentice to join our growing team in Banksmeadow.

This is a excellent opportunity for someone who is hands-on, reliable and keen to build a career in metal fabrication while completing a nationally recognised apprenticeship.

About the Role

As a Metal Fabricator Apprentice, you will learn and develop skills in:
Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
Measuring, cutting and preparing steel and metal components
MIG and TIG welding
Fabricating handrails, balustrades, staircases and structural steel
Using hand and power tools safely
Grinding, drilling and finishing metalwork
Working with experienced fabricators and welders
Maintaining a clean and secure workshop

About You

We are looking for someone who:
Is genuinely interested in metal fabrication and welding
Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Enjoys practical, hands-on work
Can follow instructions and work as part of a team




Is committed to completing their apprenticeship
Previous workshop or trade experience is advantageous but not essential
