We're working with an established construction contractor delivering specialist projects within the Defence sector.
This is an opportunity to join a growing team delivering secure, technically engaging construction projects across South East Queensland.
With a head office in Brisbane, projects can be located anywhere from the Gold Coast through to Toowoomba and surrounding areas. Where overnight stays are required, accommodation and relevant allowances will be provided.
About the Role
We are looking to identify an ambitious Junior Project Manager who is ready to take the next step in their construction career.
This role offers a genuine and structured pathway to becoming a Project Manager within approximately 12 months.
You will work closely with experienced Project Managers and site teams, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle while taking on increasing responsibility.
Requirements
Experience working for a reputable commercial construction contractor
Currently working as a Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, Junior Project Manager,
or Contract Administrator with site-based experience
Solid understanding of commercial construction processes, programming, procurement, contracts, and project delivery
Comfortable working closely with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
Ambitious, organised, and keen to progress into a full Project Manager position
Willingness to travel to project sites across South East Queensland, including occasional overnight stays
Must be an Australian Citizen due to Defence project requirements
