Sun Engineering is seeking an experienced SMP Construction Manager to lead the delivery of Structural, Mechanical and Piping works on a major project in Papua Recent Guinea (PNG).

This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving construction performance, leading multidisciplinary teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Lead all SMP construction activities from planning through to completion.
Manage construction teams, supervisors, subcontractors, plant and resources.
Drive project performance across safety, quality, productivity and schedule.
Coordinate closely with project, engineering, procurement and client teams.
Manage construction risks, resolve site issues and maintain commercial focus.
Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, teamwork and safety.





About You
Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Senior SMP Construction Manager.
Strong background delivering SMP works on mining, mineral processing or heavy industrial projects.
Solid leadership, planning and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence.
Ability to work on a FIFO roster in PNG.
