We are recruiting on behalf of a well-known global retailer for a Department Manager in Erina, joining an established leadership team and a diverse store environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being amongst their team — coaching, developing, celebrating wins and stepping in when things get busy.
The opportunity Working alongside the Store Manager and fellow Department Manager, you’ll help lead a store team, including Visual Merchandisers and Sales Assistants
Your days will include:
Coaching and developing team members on the shop floor
Driving sales, conversion and customer loyalty
Monitoring KPIs and turning numbers into transparent actions
Following up on performance and holding people accountable
Creating individual training and development plans
Supporting a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture
Identifying strengths within your team and helping people progress
Leading from the front during busy trade periods

You could currently be a:

Retail experience is welcomed, but we’re also interested in leaders from other fast-paced customer environments who can demonstrate strong transferable leadership skills.
You’ll ideally bring:
Experience leading and developing a team
Confidence working with KPIs and performance targets
Robust coaching and training capability
The ability to follow through and create accountability
A collaborative, inclusive leadership style
Adaptability and confidence working in a fast-moving environment
A genuine interest in developing both yourself and others
