Wood delivers maintenance and turnaround services for the Ampol Lytton Refinery and is seeking experienced Welders for the current Shutdown. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a rapid-paced, high-performing team working on a major refinery event, commencing immediately for approx. 4 weeks.

This short-term role offers strong EBA benefits and rates. Penalty rates also apply.

You must be available within the next week for a medical.

This is a Brisbane-based role, however, those living outside of Southeast Queensland with the required skillset and experience, will also be considered.

Demonstrable robust focus and commitment to safety
Enjoy working in a team environment and self-motivated
Prepared to also carry out pipefitting, as and when required
Ability to work autonomously when required, while taking ownership of the role.

Qualifications




Welding tickets 4, 5 and 7 (desirable)
Pipe welding - Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Chromoly, MMAW, GTAW, FCAW experience required
You will have proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environments
Previous Shutdown/T&I; experience is a definite advantage, as is O&G;
Trade qualified and working within a heavy industry workplace for at least 5 years
You must have in-date current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets
Must be available to pass a Wood medical, after providing the required certificates, safety tickets and driver’s licence to MyPass.
