Job Description
Design & Build are currently seeking an experienced Foreman to join a well-established contractor working on a major industrial new build project in Jimboomba.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the roadworks package, coordinating trades, subcontractors and day-to-day site activities to ensure the works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

About the Role
n
Supervise day-to-day site activities and coordinate trades and subcontractors.
n
Take responsibility for the roadworks package on the project.
n
Coordinate labour, plant, materials and site resources.
n
Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
n
Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
n
Liaise with the Site Manager and Project Manager.
n
Monitor progress and assist with maintaining the project programme.
n
Maintain site documentation, quality and safety standards.
n
Identify and resolve issues on site.
n
About You




n
Proven experience as a Foreman within commercial construction.
n
Some civil construction experience is highly desirable.
n
Experience working on new build projects.
n
Strong ability to coordinate trades, subcontractors and site activities.
n
Good understanding of construction sequencing and site safety.
n
Robust communication and leadership skills.
n
Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your work area.
n
Available to start ASAP.
n
Able to commit to a long-term contract through to May ****.
n
