I'm working with a growing Brisbane public practice firm looking for a Senior Business Services Accountant who wants greater client ownership, more advisory exposure and a genuine pathway towards Manager.
n
The opportunity
n
You'll take ownership of a quality portfolio of privately owned SME clients while working closely with experienced Managers and Partners.
n
Your day-to-day will include:
n
n
Managing your own portfolio of SME clients
n
Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns and BAS
n
Providing business advisory and tax planning support
n
Working directly with business owners
n
Assisting with more complex client matters
n
Reviewing work and supporting junior accountants
n
Identifying opportunities to add value beyond compliance
n
Building long-term client relationships
n
n




The role is designed for someone who wants to continue developing technically while becoming more commercially involved with their clients.
n
What they're looking for

n
3+ years' Australian public practice experience
n
Strong Business Services and Tax experience
n
Experience managing a client portfolio
n
CA/CPA qualified or currently studying
n
Strong communication and client relationship skills
n
An interest in developing further into advisory
n
Someone ready for the next step towards Manager
n
