About the Role
n
We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and operate reliable, scalable data pipelines and data structures on our enterprise analytics platform, with a robust focus on Microsoft Fabric.
n
You'll work closely with the Data Platform Manager, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high‐quality, well‐governed data is available to support Power BI reporting, analytics, and advanced data use cases.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Build and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse)
n
Ingest and transform data from source systems using ELT patterns
n
Develop robust data transformations using SQL, notebooks, and Fabric‐native tooling
n
Create curated data layers and analytical models optimised for reporting and analytics
n
Build and support governed semantic models for Power BI
n
Embed data quality controls, validation rules, and reconciliation checks into pipelines
n
Support data governance requirements including security, privacy, metadata,
and lineage
n
Monitor and support production data pipelines and resolve data or performance issues
n
Collaborate with analysts, BI developers, and platform leads to continuously improve data capability
n
About You
n
You're a technically strong Data Engineer who enjoys building reliable data foundations and working collaboratively across teams.
n
Key Skills & Experience
n
Experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer
n
Hands‐on experience with Microsoft Fabric or comparable modern data platforms
n
Strong SQL skills and experience with data transformations (PySpark / Python desirable)
n
Solid understanding of Lakehouse and data warehouse concepts
n
Experience supporting Power BI through datasets and semantic models
n
Strong attention to detail and a focus on data quality and reliability
n
Clear communicator with a customer‐focused mindset
n
