We're looking for mechanically minded Trade Assistants to join an industrial machinery workshop in Geebung.

Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you'll assist with the maintenance, repair and rebuild of heavy vehicles, hydraulic equipment and mechanical components in a busy workshop environment.

The Role
n
Working alongside qualified tradespeople, you'll be involved in a range of mechanical workshop duties, including:

Assisting with the strip-down, repair and rebuild of trucks, trailers and hydraulic equipment
n
Supporting fault-finding, diagnostics and mechanical repairs
n
Assisting with hydraulic installations and component replacements
n
Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively
n
Preparing components for assembly and installation
n
Performing general workshop duties while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
n

About You
n
n
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
n
Previous mechanical,
hydraulic or heavy vehicle experience
n
Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Basic hand tools are advantageous but not essential
n
Trade Assistants, mechanically minded candidates, and 1st or 2nd year apprentices are encouraged to apply
n
